How to Request e-CD in the BB S.A App
1. Access your BBA Account in the BB S.A. App.
2. Click on the option “Aplicações”.
3. Select “Aplicar em e-CD” and click on “Avançar”. Review the features of the e-CD application on the first screen of the flow.
a. Click on “Tabela de Rentabilidade” para consultar as taxas de juros atuais de acordo com o valor e o prazo da aplicação financeira e-CD.
4. Click on “Avançar” to request an e-CD.
5. Select the account of origin for the debit of the initial deposit to open the e-CD Account.
6. Select whether you want to open an Individual e-CD Account (just for you) or a Joint Account (for you and the other account holders of the account of origin).
a. All account holders of the account of origin must have access to BBA in the BB S.A. App to open the e-CD Account in the BB App. Otherwise, only the opening of an individual account will be allowed.
7. Inform the amount of the initial deposit to open the e-CD Account and click on “Avançar”.
i. The minimum deposit amount is $1,000.
ii. The maximum amount will be the available balance in the selected account of origin.
8. Check the current profitability based on the deposit amount and the specified period.
9. If you’re interested in using your e-CD Account as collateral to apply for a credit card, click on “I Want the Credit Card.” If you prefer to proceed with opening only the e-CD Account, click “Continue with e-CD Only”.
a. If you are interested in the secured credit card, please wait and we will contact you to finalize the opening of your e-CD Account.
10. Select whether you would like to add beneficiaries to the e-CD account.
i. “Sim, replicar os mesmos da conta de origem”: By selecting this option, the beneficiary information from the selected account of origin account will be automatically copied when opening the e-CD account.
ii. “Sim, porém diferentes dos da conta de origem” ou “Sim, informar os beneficiários”: To add beneficiaries different from those on the selected account of origin, you will need to provide the beneficiary’s Full Name, SSN or CPF, and Date of Birth. You may add up to two (2) beneficiaries to the e-Money Market Account.
11. Carefully read carefully the terms and conditions related to opening the e-CD account, check the box “Confirmo que li e estou de acordo” and click on “Avançar”.
12. Confirm the information and click on “Confirmar” to complete your e-CD account opening request.
13. Select the previously registered phone number where you wish to receive the verification code and click on “Avançar.” If you do not recognize the listed phone numbers, contact our BB Americas Bank Client Support Center.
