*For automatic crediting of money transfers from a BB Americas Bank consumer account to a recipient’s Banco do Brasil S.A. (BB S.A.) consumer account on the same business day, the following requirements must be met:
-Recipients Banco do Brasil S.A. Branch and Account Number provided on the money transfer transaction must be correct;
-Recipient’s account record with Banco do Brasil S.A. must be up-to-date;
-A valid CPF is required for the beneficiary in Brazil;
-Recipient must have provided Banco do Brasil S.A. authorization for the automatic settlement of remittances received from abroad. Ask your recipient to verify with his/her respective Banco do Brasil S.A. Branch Officer if the authorization is in place and has not expired;
-The “Transfer Purpose” informed in the money transfer request must match the information listed on the Recipients record with Banco do Brasil S.A.;
-Remittance request must be submitted by 8:00 p.m. ET;
-Brazilian National Holidays could impact the date the transfer will be credited to the recipient’s account in Banco do Brasil S.A.
Exchange Rate
Exchange rate is subject to change at any time.
The exchange rate applied to your transfer request will be the exchange rate in effect and informed at the time you submit your transfer request. Exchange rate is guaranteed for up to 24 hours after submitting your transfer request.
Transfer Limits
Daily Minimum US$15; Daily Maximum equivalent to R$99.999,99 (Real); Monthly Maximum US$100,000.00 (Dollar).
Transaction Cancellation Request
You may cancel your transaction within 35 minutes after submitting your request. After this time the transfer can no longer be canceled.
Other Details
This transaction is governed by the International Money Transfer Services Agreement by and between you and BB Americas Bank.
Transfers must be made from a BB Americas Bank Consumer Checking Account or Money Market Account to a Banco do Brasil S.A. Consumer Account.
A valid CPF is required for the beneficiary in Brazil. In the event you provide an incorrect recipient account number or incorrect recipient institution identifier, you could lose the transfer amount.
Availability of funds may be delayed or services may be unavailable based on certain transaction characteristics, including amount sent, destination country, currency exchange availability, regulatory issues, identification requirements, bank / agency location hours or differences in times zones. Additional restrictions may apply.
BB Americas Bank does not charge a processing fee to send your money to BB S.A. in Brazil. In addition to transfer fees and other fees set forth in the agreement, BB Americas Bank (or its affiliates) may receive additional compensation when you exchange U.S. dollars to a different currency. The recipient may receive less than the original amount sent due to fees charged by the recipient’s bank and foreign taxes.
