Minimum Amount $15; Maximum equivalent to R$9.999,99; Monthly Maximum Amount:$50,000.
Transaction Request Approval or Cancel
Approval: You must have a WhatsApp account linked to the cell phone number registered in your BB Americas Bank account to approve the transaction. If not, the remittance request will be cancelled.
Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your remittance request after you approved it, you must send a WhatsApp message with the word “cancel” to the same chat that you approved it. This message needs to be sent in up to 30 minutes after you approve it. After that time, the remittance request will be processed and it cannot be canceled or returned.
Other Details
Transfers must be made from a BB Americas Bank Consumer Checking Account or Money Market Account* to a Banco do Brasil S.A. Consumer Account.
A valid CPF is required for the beneficiary in Brazil.
*Money Market account: By Regulation this account is limited to 6 transactions per statement cycle. If you exceed the transaction limitations, your account will be charged a fee of $15.00 per excessive debit transaction. If you continue to exceed transaction limitations more than three (3) times within a 12 month rolling period will be notified by the Bank and the account will be closed or converted to a Checking Account. Your account may no longer earn interest.
