Arts For Learning – Culminating Event

The BB Americas Bank CRA team partners with Arts 4 Learning to integrate financial literacy concepts with art through four spring sessions. Arts 4 Learning is a nonprofit that advances teaching and learning through the arts.
For Spring 2026, BBA CRA hosted a culminating event showcasing financial literacy artwork created during the four sessions. Throughout the program, students learned concepts such as the 50/30/20 rule and the basics of saving, expressing these ideas through creative artwork that reflected money management skills and personal growth. They used nontraditional mark-making techniques, layering various materials and methods.
The culminating event brought together all individual pieces to form a larger art installation for parents to view and enjoy. Students also performed Australian Aboriginal and Afro-Brazilian music and dance.
The children were very proud of their work, and parents were impressed by the meaningful impact of combining financial literacy with the arts. It was a remarkable evening made possible through the partnership between Arts for Learning, Dr. Carlos Finlay Elementary School, and BBA.
