United Against Poverty - Orlando

BB Americas Bank partners with United Against Poverty Orlando to present a Financial Literacy Workshop in their STEP employment program. The Success Training Employment Program (STEP) by United Against Poverty is a free, four-week workforce training course that helps adults overcome barriers to employment and secure living-wage jobs.

At the UP site, BBA volunteers discussed the lessons Financial Goal Setting and Financial Value Alignment. We had 18 attendees. We discussed the importance of aligning our values to our finances and the importance of the 50/30/20 rule and understanding credit.
