United Against Poverty - Orlando

BB Americas Bank volunteers collaborated with coordinators from United Against Poverty Orlando to help prepare the logistical setup of both the UP Grocery Store and the UP regular market. These subsidized grocery programs are designed to empower and uplift individuals and families by increasing access to affordable food and essential products while supporting long-term economic stability.

At the UP site, BBA volunteers worked together to stack and open boxes, stock and organize shelves with food products, and optimize the shopping environment and overall customer experience. Volunteers also carefully inspected products to ensure all food items were safe, fresh, and not expired. As always, the team welcomed shoppers with warmth and enthusiasm while assisting both UP staff and community members throughout the day. In alignment with UP’s mission, the BB Americas team believes that every individual and family deserves food security and access to the resources needed to thrive.
