Will your debit card work outside the U.S.?

Your BB Americas Bank Debit Card can be used in any country that accepts VISA. However, before using it outside the U.S., it must be unlocked for international use through one of the following options:

• Access your BBA account in the BB App, select “Cartão de débito” and choose the “Habilitar aviso viagem” option. You will need to provide your travel dates and the countries you will visit; OR
• Access BB Americas Bank Personal Online Banking, under Tools and Services select Messages & Requests > Service Requests > Aviso de Viagem / Travel Notice Request. Provide the beginning and end travel date, destinations and last 4 digits of your debit card and/or credit card.
• Contact our BB Americas Bank Client Support Center in advance and provide your travel dates and countries you will visit.
