BB Americas Mobile Capture is an easy way to use a mobile phone to deposit checks into your consumer checking, money market or savings account.
All clients with access to BB Americas’ Online Banking, with any active consumer Checking, Money Market or Savings account and that have registered for Mobile Banking. Clients must have access to the TouchBanking App for iPhone or Android.
Enroll for Online Banking on our website and then register for Mobile Banking. Once enrolled for both services, proceed to download our TouchBanking App in the Apple App Store and the Android Market. To download the App, you will need to have access to the US app store.
BB Americas will allow you to deposit: Personal, Payroll, Cashier Checks, Money Orders,
and Government Checks.
There is not a set limit on the number of checks a customer can deposit using the Mobile Capture, but
only one check can be deposited per transaction. There is a dollar amount threshold for daily deposit
volume which is $5,000.00.
There are limits on the dollar amount that can be deposited within the same day. The amount is
currently set at $5,000.00 per day. If you try to deposit over that amount, it will give you the message
that the transaction cannot be completed.
If you make a deposit using Mobile Capture/ mobile deposit before 3:00 pm Est. on a business day
that we are open, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a
deposit using “Mobile Capture”/ mobile deposit AFTER 3:00 pm Est. or on a day we are not open, we will consider the deposit was made on the next business day we are open.
After the deposit is submitted, clients may see one of the following statuses under “History” on the TouchBanking App for Mobile Capture.
No, BB Americas mobile capture is offered only to personal accounts. Speak to a banker
to find out about our RDC service for businesses.
No, clients should take a picture of the whole check. They will be prompted to take a photo of the
front and the back when the app prompts them to do so.
Note: Check must be endorsed.
Yes, you may have multiple Mobile devices and have access to the service. Go
to the App store and follow regular app download process. You will also need to have online banking.
Once you have deposited the check successfully, you should keep the check in a safe place for 30
days. After 30 days, and after you have confirmed the deposited funds have been applied to your
account correctly, destroy the check and/or mark it “VOID”.
Customer may speak to a banker to have Mobile Deposit disabled.
